Here is the K-9 Birthday Cake Recipe that I mentioned I would give to you.  Rose made it for Frodo on his New Years Eve birthday again. He loves it! We think you and Candace are so wonderful. We love you!

K-9 Birthday Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup white or whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

¼ cup peanut butter

¼ cup cooking oil

1 cup shredded carrots

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/3 cup honey or less (optional)

1 egg

Mix the dry ingredients.  Add the remaining ingredients and mix quickly.  Mixture will be thick.  Bake in a greased muffin pan at 350 degrees until done to the touch.  You may frost these cakes with low fat cottage cheese and decorate with some carrot pieces.  Store in refrigerator.

(We make either the large muffins or the mini muffins for our dog and then freeze the leftovers for later)

Dogs will eat this without the honey added, obviously!
